DGT Tuning Pegs Question?

Hi,
Just picked up a DGT off eBay at a good price. I already have 2 (greedy I know).
However the tining pegs e to g turn the opposite way to normal.
They are the original tuning pegs and the seller said he hasn't noticed this issue?
Surely I can't of done something wrong?

The head, places where the strings are attached... and perhaps the back of the head in case there's something wrong with mechanics...

Sounds like you've wrapped the strings the wrong way around the post - you've turned the peg the wrong way once you'd locked the string in place.

Easy way to check is if the strings aren't in a straight line from the nut, they're angled more than the bass strings?

Yes I think the latter, I rushed it and must have done it wrong. (Never made the mistake before, but had 2 little kids shouting at me). Haha
It's now at the local shop having a quick setup before rehearsal tonight.
Previous owner had put 10s on and messed with the strings which upsets me alot. The guitar is perfect out of the factory. At least for me anyhow.

Yeah, the tuning pegs move both ways regardless, so it has to be the strings wrapping over the opposite way of normal.

Post pics of the guitar sometime if you can though, just for eye candy here ...
