DGT selector relocation

I love my DGT but I’d rather the selector toggle was where the neck pup pot is located (so I didn’t nt have to move my hand off the guitar) plus I’d rather have a master volume. Has anyone performed this surgery ?

I thought I remember someone talking about it , IF it was me I would try extending the wire to the switch and just moving all the pots back one hole , OR better yet just get all new Pots and wire redo the whole set up keeping the stock wiring for resale
