Dgt pick ups into an older McCarty.

Hello. I purchased a 2004 McCarty that a previous owner put DGT pick up into. As this is an unofficial mod there is no real working diagram and I want to confirm what resistors/values and where placed should be used to get the intended DGT tone and split coil results. I can look at the McCarty wiring diagram. And also the dgt. But not sure in this slightly odd ball scenario what the more correct way to do this is. To confirm, the pick ups are already in and everything is working fine. I’m just trying to confirm what resistors should be added in as I am not sure it was done best way.

I am no help on the specs, but if you like it, it is right! What inspired you to question the mod? Does it sound off? Is an expected function missing?

I would look at the McCarty diagram and see if the wiring lines up. If not, then check the DGT one (which will obviously be different since it's 3 knob vs 2).

If that doesn't jive then it's likely a customized wiring setup.
