DGT Owners? Question

Just picked up one from a TGP member and was wondering what gauge strings you like to use on the DGT. I am aware of how PRS promotes the use of 11s on it, but I'm just not a big string player. Thoughts please...

I threw 10's on mine and never looked back. I found no difference in tone.

I’ve played 10s and 9s on mine. G buzzes a bit with 9s but overall no issues with either.

I’m running 9s is on mine. The first one I had I left 11s on. Never had an issue. I prefer 9s, and put them on the 2nd DGT I owned. Much prefer them.

9s also on all my guitars, including DGT. No problems or issues, and it keeps life much simpler, easier.

I originally used D'addario NYXLs (11-56) on my DGT but lately I've switched to D'addario XTs (10-52) and they are a delight to play. I've also put them on all of my other SEs as well, except for the SVN which still has NYXL 7-string set.

I'm still using 11s. They don't feel that heavy on that guitar. Maybe someday I'll try something different, but I haven't gotten there yet.

10s for me, I played one will 11s it was really sweet, now that I have DGT pickups in mine I should try a set of 11s
