    Good day everyone,

I’m looking at a new DGT from 2018, and wondering how it differs from the 2021 models?
I’ve read that there have been some changes with the finish and/or the pickups?

I tried searching DGT in the forum, but I got a message saying that the search could not be completed.

Found this on another site, but the last year listed is 2017

07 (yes there were some DGTs in 07) - late 2011 - Nitro top coat, cream rings, speed knobs, Phase 2 tuners
Late 2011+ V12 finish, white rings, lampshade knobs, Phase 3 tuners
    2012+ diff resistors for splits
2012 (only) Standard made - all mahogany
    2013+ Pups shiny nickel
    2017 - fretboard binding

There is some good info in this thread. Starting in 2020, they will have the new Nitro CAB finish, and TCI pickups (still DGT pickups, just with the TCI process applied).
