Hi, I'm mostly a Strat player since 20 years and after many try with Les Pauls (for humbuckers flavor) I gave up and test / bought this lovely DGT this year!

I like everything of it : the 3 knobs + selector layout, the top carve, the neck...

I just changed some subtle things to fit better on my uses : knobs order from neck to bridge : selector / Neck vol / Bridge Vol / tone

The push-pull was replaced by a push-push.

And to counteract the wooly sound of the neck pickup I disconnect it from the tone, now I can set up my amp and pedals (with a clean boost as a base) for a clear neck tone and I just have roll down the tone as I want to control the bridge's highs!

Now it's pretty easy to have a balance sound.

Sorry I don't know how to add pics directly on the thread

Have a nice day!

There is a thread on how to show pics on the general discussion.

Gorgeous guitar; congrats!

Thanks for posting the control cavity shots. Re-routing the signal path must have been fun, though likely not fast. Nice work!

DGT’s are fantastic workhorses and will handle anything you throw at ‘em. And then some. Congrats on your blue beauty!

Thanks to all of you 🤘
This guitar is awesome and is a keeper! (not the case of many guitars I had these years)

Beautiful guitar. That color is a great choice. I am also impressed by you jumping right in and customizing the electronics right out of the box. Great to see you making it your own. Congrats!

Thank you! The customisation was technically easy (some soldering and drilling to increase the original holes size).
I used the guitar as it was right out of the box, and slowly modded it to stick my needs.
First the push-push, incredibly easier to use in live.
And then the layout re-organisation.
I’m using both pickups so I wanted the neck vol at his usual place, and I found the selector (that I use a lot, maybe the strat uses 😀) too far back!
