DGT - Anyone Notice Something?

So, two cool changes on these two DGT Goldtops I noticed. Anyone see them? When the world starts going again, I might need to send my DGT in for an upgrade.

The older style speed knobs. I've always liked those over the lampshades. And moons?

You got me on this one. The only thing I’m seeing is they are going with a lighter stain on the back of the goldtops.

My goldtop DGT is an '08 and it came with the older style speed knobs...now I'm thinking of pull off the lampshades.

I'll give it a couple more guesses...the knobs are one thing, but there's still one more new feature. Not the moons, good guess though.

I've noticed the back finish seems to change every few rotations. And, of course, the neck binding that was there for a about a year is gone again.

But still one other change.

I think speed knobs were on previous build years of the DGT as well. In fact, i know they were because I kept going back and forth between the look of speed and lampshades when I was looking at the ‘19s. Can’t go wrong with either.

I think the DGT went lampshades in '09 or '10? As soon as saw the shades, I had to have them. When the PTC first started out in '09, I had lampshades installed on my DGT, along with non-engraved 57/08s.
