While I know DT made this thread in semi jest after the disgraceful farce from the other day but it really does show just how far we have sunk as a race when any of this is even required nowadays.
I truly fear for the world and am just hoping I can manage to get by without offing some dork over the next few years or however long I am allowed to grace this planet further.

The one thing I really like about this place is that there is peaceful, respectful and civil discourse. Guitars and amps are a great place to have that. And we do that here extremely well.

We should also be able to do that as a democratic country(ies) as well. But, spoiler alert, way too many people make money from riling us all up.

People will never agree on everything. But being willing to be educated, thoughtful and respectful of each other is where we start to realize there’s a lot to be thankful for being born in a democratic country. It’s what I see being done here. It’s a start.

Uh, it was TOTAL jest, and was not meant to be any commentary on society. I too, agree with the basics... treat others as you would have others treat you. "A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly." You know, the basics.

Thankful that I could come back to love by everyone and we could all get along. I have a feeling that some other forums might continue to make snide remarks and kick horses down but I've recieved a number of messages from you guys and am happy that we could pull together to fix the issues.

Love you guys and just popping in to say thanks again. It means alot, I'm not sure what came over me the yesterday and the day before.

I'm grateful that we could find some common ground.

I have only put one person on my ignore list. I don’t have a clue about anyone not getting along on the forum lately. I guess I chose wisely. It really surprised me how much more I have enjoyed reading people’s thoughts since I made that decision. Thanks to everyone for keeping this forum friendly.
