Detailed Instructions: "How to get along at the PRS forum!"

In light of recent events, I thought it might be nice to have a detailed set of instructions for how to get along and thrive at the PRS forum. New people come here with no real guidance in proper forum etiquette. I think we should lay some simple ground rules for getting along here. Perhaps this should be a sticky thread (no pun intended).

Just relax, find your center, picture the shot and... (2:20)

And hope your shot doesn't land in the lumber yard.

Exactly. DBAD is a life rule that serves you even better when the persons you’re communicating with don’t have the benefit of visual cues to read your intent. Some seem to revel in being blocked. In that case, your version is SBAD.

Fortunately, most here are just good folks wanting to talk guitars. I enjoy that quite a lot.

While I know DT made this thread in semi jest after the disgraceful farce from the other day but it really does show just how far we have sunk as a race when any of this is even required nowadays.
I truly fear for the world and am just hoping I can manage to get by without offing some dork over the next few years or however long I am allowed to grace this planet further.
