Awww Snap! I was only half joking about needing to do two of these at a time so I could be distracted enough to let the paint dry on one of 'em, but you know how it is when you put energy out into the world..... Yeah, I got another guitar to mess with.

I've wanted one of these ever since I decided SE's that are killer guitars, and I figured I would just hold out for a deal on a white one until tonight. The ad stated that it has "upgraded" pickups, but since I literally just got home alive from a craigslist deal... I'll have to get back to you if it does indeed. I did play it for a few, and I have to say I don't care what pickups are in it because whatever they are... it sounds Bangin'!

There is always a catch though... and in this case it's a huge chunk missing from the headstock.

I haven't figured out if I'm just gonna fix the chunk or if I'm gonna devise some grand thematic look for the guitar, but whatever.... it's cool. I don't want to say how much I stole this guitar for.... but it rhymes with "a hundred schmucks"

Sweet guitar Sergio!
Just a thought, what if you rounded off the edges of the headstock and give it the Santana look? Could be bangin'!?!?!

Oh and something is flying your way too, Sergio.... ;)

Psyched!

I have a similar project ongoing. Still haven't decided what I want to do yet, so I'll steal ideas from you.

What, you got a nasty chip, or a Soapy?

cool score, brother!

and that headstock is certainly BANGED !!

Fixed it for ya.

Totally would! I already put some epoxy on the tip, I'm gonna try and get it back into shape.

I put some epoxy on the broken headstock and I'm slowly shaping it, it's taking forever to dry! The weather here has been really weird: rainy and cool with like, 94% humidity.. With such a deep hole to fill this will take longer than I anticipated... damn.

So now you're ironic enough to be a Hipster. They will mail you the requisite beanie, I'm sure.

Around here only crusty-hippie types wear beanies, I fear I'm already a borderline hipster anyway.... except with sequins!!!! :girl:
