Deleted since I apparently broke the rules

Congrats on the groovy new roots box! I've always had a fascination with dobro-style guitars; love the sound of them in the hands of a good slide player (which I'm not)...

I do still keep a couple Gretsches around myself, however... mostly because Paul wasn't making guitars when I started playing, and I saw so many of them in the hands of great pickers in my youth...

Cool guitar, get them to send you a new truss rod cover….that ones broken…..

Heard back from the retail shop a few days ago that Gretsch would send out a new truss rod cover

Heard from retail shop moments ago and Gretsch says they do not have a spare truss rod cover and will have to exchange my guitar for another one

That round up is cool

I didn't know you were the PRS police

I see you have posted a similar comment in my other thread about a Roland amp yet, you comment and engage in the conversation in other threads about non-PRS made gear --- did I offend you personally in some way as to cause you to single out my threads?
No offense taken.

You'll notice I haven't started a thread about non PRS gear, because as I understand it, we aren't supposed to.

Call me the police if you must.

Police or not, I will say that I just purchased my first Gretsch (Streamliner) a few weeks ago and I really like it! Left it at a remote location to play when there and don't have any pix, (I know, it's a Hello Kitty until I post pix, which I am not planning to do so I don't get in trouble with the police). I wanted a jazz box and at $495, this one fit my tastes!!! Purchased from Chicago Music Exchange and after looking through their hundreds of guitars, I asked them if I could play it (did not know the price, did not care) and it turned out it was just what I wanted. Tried a few others the salesman pushed at me ($2k - $5k range) but walked out with the cheap skates!!! Kind of wanted it that way anyway as I have enough expensive guitars for now and needed a cheaper one that sounded good both acoustically and electrically that I would not fret about (pun intended) and for me, this one works!! LOOK OUT, HERE COMES THE COPS!!!!

I like tacos......can we discuss both soft and hard shell?
If both, then corn and flour?
We all love tacos here and I think we're open to discuss both types.

However, don't listen to that Plaid guy. The main topics of this forum are... PRS, Tacos and of course, Julie Bowen. You really can't leave Julie out here, and why would anyone want too? In fact, it's been a while... it must be time for Julie pics!
