Sorry just catching up on this. Does this mean that hipster culture isn't hip anymore? Well I feel sorry for all those craft barbers that seem to have sprung up recently. Hoxton (formerly deprived are of London now hipster central) will be very different. I recall people paying £3.50 (about $4) for small bowls of all day cereal.....
To respond to an earlier post, we had a thriving real ale/craft beer scene here (mainly thanks to years of campaigning against corporate mega breweries) years before it became.... er...... 'hip'.
