Dead and company....super eagle sounds fantastic

I saw the show last Thursday in Bristow, VA and the Super Eagle was amazing.

Does anyone know what the blue PRS is that Mayer is playing in this tour?

McCarty, I think. IIRC, he did a periscope with that blue guitar. Either that, or there's a vid on you tube of him playing it. I haven't watched said video, mouth I have seen it pop up in more than one search for something.

I saw the tour in Burgettstown (Pittsburgh) last night. I totally agree, that PRS rig sounded KILLER ! And Mayer's chops are on another level these days. If he goes back to his blues material, it will be a waste of the talent and woodshedding he's done. Far beyond Trey, just melodic and flowing, almost too perfect if you know what I mean. I wish we'd get some details on the V-9 amps. On side note, John played a maple necked stratocaster last night on three tunes, first he's used a Fender on this tour from what I've seen. "All Along the Watchtower" was Jimi and reggae with JM burning. Honestly, I liked the Super Eagle much better than that strat.

The "blue" PRS...here it is, looks like a McCarty. Sounds nice to hear Mayer playing the neck pickup on St. Stephen
