DC3 Pickups

Hello all. Out of the blue I bought a DC3 yesterday, love the neck on it. I like the way it sounds, however, I can't stand all the noise from the pickups when I play on my gain channel of my amp. At first I thought the pickups were an odd size but that just looks like the covers. So, has anyone had success swapping pickups in the DC3? I'm thinking that I'd love to drop some Dimarzio's in here. The area 61 sounds really really good in the neck and it's dead silent. Maybe a Virtual Solo in the bridge. Well see.

Not sure but maybe PTC woud swap 'em for Narrowfields (turning it into an NF3) for you? The Narrowfields are very good, IMO.
