Days Of Future Passed

I’m dealing with cancer now. Aside from the radiation + drug side effects, all is good, except for the gig I had to play sitting in a chair because of the excruciating pain after 4 procedures at once.
Damn Dude, sorry to hear that! Best wishes in kicking that MFer out of your life!! Power to the heal!!!

I used to have good days and bad days , now they are just tolerable, or debilitating.

I've been clinically dead 4 times , oddly I prefer it in many ways .. but that's a long philisophical discussion.

Music is what keeps me going, I was talking with my dear friends that were playing this weekend, they said "Your such an inspiration , and your energy lights this place up... So ... How are you really doing??: I said " I have up to 18 months , slowly fading , but I learned about stage personna from you all, so I rest up so "Greywolf " can shine when I'm here .. the rest of the time is resting up for it., or recovering from it"

I love your post because you are a fighter who gets much from life.

Oh no sir. Onions are part and parcel of the Coney.
I go back to the day when you had to hit Lafayette or American Coney Island downtown to get a Coney. But I've always ordered "two up without".

It was 1963 when I started Cass Technical High School in Detroit and we'd take the bus to the Coney.

I don't really like uncooked white onions.

Been to the Lafayette in a tux. I think we need a forum meeting there (health dept be damned!)

I adopted Jerry Garcia's outlook years ago .. Have as much fun as you can , life is far shorter than we think it is...
Some of my family think I'm daft for being so carefree at this point .. but I refuse to be a grumpy old couch potato ... I may have a silly blissful smile and fall asleep playing guitar occasionaly but hey .. no complaints ... nobody would listen to them ...

All I can say is you have it exactly right.

Incidentally, falling asleep at my workstation writing music is not uncommon for me!

"Maybe if your music wasn't so boring...just sayin'..."

"Thanks for reminding me."

I couldn’t agree with you more. Every day is a chance to be happy and play guitar in spite of the cirumstances. If there’s an audience to make happy, even better!

It’s an interesting morning here. Every time I look out the window, I see more blossoms on my cherry tree.
I think I’ll pull out my cedar/brazilian classical and play some Carulli. My audience has been reduced to cardinals and goldfinches.
