After listening to DG play it and the DG Amp all day, I have to admit Im a BIG FAN of Both! The guitar is super Smooth.. a little detail DG shared, is the Fret Angle on all DGTs is a little steeper that other PRS models as he doesnt want the strings sliding off the Jumbo Frets...
Btw, same guitar he played last year at the XPRS.... Monster Tone... just a MONSTER!

OH and just a comment from a Day of Ear Shattering Tones, about the DG50 vs DG30...
IF your wanting a BIGGGGG Bottom and more Volume, one thats shakes and quakes everything... Go Big DG50 its a clear noticeable difference.
David did say he uses both in the studio, but the DG30 fits the need for most of his gigs....

Very cool man, that guitar is killer. Dave Grissom is a killer player too - I heard some track he'd done the other day and his playing gave me chills. I hadn't actually heard him doing his thing musically before that - it was great stuff.

I have the DG30 amp, and really love it, with the HXDA covering my "big amp" needs. Interesting about the fret angle. I really need to live with a DGT at some point down the road.
