Damn ...

Whether you're still playing at this hour since last night (you?) or got up at 4:30 AM to get in some "play time" before work (unfortunately me)....I couldn't agree with you more.

Me too

So much so that after I drop my daughter off in Iowa I'm coming back to WI to go to Daves for the first time, lol... I'm so happy!!
Make sure you put your hand under your chin before you walk in the door. Personal experience....it hurts like he77 when your jaw bounces off the floor. Good luck getting in and out without seriuos damage to your wallet! :D

I love playing, old stuff, new stuff. I play in my make shift music room or just sitting on the couch while watching a ball game. It's a great hobby, and I hear it costs less than cars, airplanes, cameras, just about any other hobby guys get into (well it can start out cheap anyway).

I tried violin. I tried piano. I even tried a trumpet, a flute, a sax, and a harmonica! But it's guitar, now and forever.

Wrote a song about it...............like to hear it?.....................here it go.........

(Well I didn't, but somebody did.)

Pretty similar to me the only difference being cigareets 'n whusky 'n wild wild women halted my guitar playing advancement for a chunk of years in the middle of it all only to revisit it forty years later :(

I'm kinda in the same boat. Except, I never stopped playin' guitar or banjo.Hell, I LOVED it. Don't care about cigareets or whiskey (but I do beer, damn, I love beer), and women ... man, I wish I could go back in time.
Anyway, has to be bluegrass, or pseudo bluegrass like these guys play ... which is cool, they are quite good.

Oh yeah!! ( picture the Kool Aid dude crashing through a wall)...wife's visiting her sister for the weekend in Centreville ( actually my personal B&B every Experience) so here at home I changed some tubes on an old beat up Pro Jr last night I picked up dirt cheap and played me some goootar too!!! It's still therapy, and Paul got it so right...never in a bad mood with a guitar/bass in hand!!

Me too.

In fact, I love guitars, probably even more than I love music. I used to have a real passion for music when I was young but ti's definitely not what it once was.

But guitars are still an obsession.

I can't imagine my life without music and guitars in it. My first memories are of music and guitars, and hope my last ones will be too.

I hear so much about "Dave's" I had to look up where it is located. CRAP! It's in La Crosse WI and I live in the Twin Cities. Now I need to make a short road trip and leave my wallet at home.
