So, I noticed quite a few posters here have custom TRC for their instruments and was wondering what are some good companies to look into. I wanted to have one made with my death kittie logo (my avatar).
Thanks

Yes. I did this one today since my ZM came with a black TRC.

Do you always wind your unwound strings (D, A, E) on the tuners like this?
Nice decal, BTW! :top:

Not sure what you mean?

That is a pretty cool decal...

distort6 is asking if you have a reason you wrap your 3 higher pitched strings on the tuning pegs counterclockwise instead of clockwise because it changes the angle the string exits the nut.

We are wrapping the G, B and E strings clockwise like this:

I have always done it that way, never had any tuning issues, never really thought about it to be honest. I have mostly played Ibanez in the past and of course had the 6 in line.

Whoops! Wrong strings! Fixed my post…:flute: It was early. Thanks fellas.

Tex - It's the first and only time I've ever seen it done that way. Just wondering what happened.

It defeats the purpose of the PRS headstock's "straight" string pull. It also puts sideways pressure on the nut. I'm surprised you don't have tuning issues with the string binding in the nut...
