Custom 24 neck with CE neck finish?

are there any custom 24's with a similar finish to the new CE's? I love my CE's neck, and not so big on the gloss that I think most cu24's have. I have a HB2 and assume the cu's finishes are similar? Appears that way.

I know it's maple vs mahogany - but would think it's a difference in finish rather than the wood used?

You can get the same finish on an Artist Package CU24 if you order a maple neck option, I believe.

I have a Wood Library with the satin in maple finished neck. It's a great guitar.

As for a mahogany neck, you can get them refinished with a black satin finish, a-la the Holcomb SE, through the PTC. I had a Cu22 that I sent in for a refinish and had them do the neck that way.

Back in the day I had a charvel model 4 with satin maple neck. It took a little while but I got the neck polished from playing it so the satin didn't last very long. Haven't heard anybody complain about prs guitars doing that.
