My wife bought this gorgeous White Korina 24-08 (seen on the forum before) as a New Year present for me and didn't notice the chip before it was too late (as it was sitting and waiting for the New Year). I contacted the dealer and they said it could be a shipping issue and it's too late to complain. To me it looks like nothing was wrong with the shipment, but the three-way switch is just a little misplaced and touches the paint when in left position (that is why initial dealer photos didn't have it, but they probably tried playing it after taking pictures, or I just can't zoom enough). I'd appreciate any advice on how to deal with it.

I'd dab a drop of clear nail polish on it with a tooth pick and then rock on.

If it REALLY bothers you, PRS may treat it as a warranty claim.

Yes, that's what I did, but I wonder if it can get worse over time and in general, if warranty applies to such cases, as this is my first PRS.

I wouldn't think PRS would treat a chip as warranty, especially so long after purchase. Maybe if it's deemed a faulty switch install?

Was it there when you opened the box or did you just notice it?

This makes it unique. The OCD makes me nuts, and I second the nail polish to seal it then "try to" forget about it.

It will be easily identifiable if it ever is stolen.
