So I don't play near as much as I used to, but I had done some horse trading and had a new custom shop Strat in the house, so I wanted to do a quick recording to show it to a buddy of mine.

I was noodling around with George Benson's Breezin' but it just didn't sound quite right on the Strat. I switched to my LP Traditional with Bigsby. Still not there.

Finally plugged in the CU22 semi-hollow with 57/08's and there it was!

These are really nice, under rated axes.

Mike I love that one...I am sure someone already called dibs, but just in case, I'm throwing my hat in...

I love my S2 Custom semi, I would probably die of happiness to play that one! Beautiful sounding guitars.

Dibs noted. But, pretty sure this one will stay in the family, even when I'm gone. One other buddy has also expressed some interest in it.

I am even more hesitant to post the video link here than I was when I posted it on FB... but here we go anyway...

Disclaimer - I just set my iPad down and hit record. I got lots of feedback on my halo of light - so obviously need to make some adjustments next time! I think this was a Clapton based profile on the Kemper - one of presets I think.

They're great. I really dug the one I had. Only sold it to fund something I don't have any more in the studio, which makes me a damn fool yet another time.

Looks great, wouldn't mind hearing clips. Cu22SH w/57/08s sounds like winning. Love me some George Benson.

Like the guitar (and the color pattern) & agree that with semi hollow (or HB) and 57-08's you can get great George Benson type tone (Although I have come close tone-wise with, believe it or not, my NF3 )

I missed it, but looking now it says it's unavailable. You need to make it public for us non-Facebook-friends.
