Custom 20 Head Questions

I'm looking at the Custom 20 and Archon 25, however, the former being available in a head is appealing. I've only been able to play the Archon so far though. Is the Custom 2-Channel series analogous to anything else on the market, i.e. "Marshall-ey, Voxey, Fenderish" etc.?

I know the Archon (to me, anyway) has this chewy midrange thing going on that makes me thing Marshall preamp into Recto power amp, which I dig. What's the CU20 2-ch like?
