Has anyone seen or heard this amp yet? Thinking of ordering one but really like to hear or see video first.

wow, that would match my two blue PRS!

I tried a sweet 16, it was a very tweed type sound if I remember correctly. When cranked, it was a very fuzz-esque type breakup, lots of power tube clipping. A cool and somewhat unique sound, but not as universally useful as what I would imagine the custom 20 is. If you want an all around amp with some more modern gain sounds, I'd say the custom is the ticket.

Limited Run, Faded Blue Jean "Custom 20"

Hi,
I just bought this Custom 20 from the 2nd owner. I just happened to find this thread. Small world. I love the amp but I'm not in love with the G12H30 (Chinese) in it. I tried it through an Avatar Vintage 112 Open-Back with an EVM12L and Whoa, Nelly! Big, FAT TONE for days!!!
Night and day. Did NOT like The G12H30 nor the closed back tone. I like the G12H30, just not with this amp. The speaker cab area is too boxy for this amp. The Avatar let it breath and the EV gave it the girth the amp can produce. It is a very differently voiced amp. Someone on a forum described these as a Bogner Shiva? I don't know 'bout that but it surely is a dynamically sensitive amp and can breathe some serious FIRE. Soldano is a good description as well as may I dare say, MarkIIc+is? The 2nd owner said he never touched the tubes in it. I was wondering if you (Wedge) did anything with the amp while you had it? Just curious. Thx in advance for any info you can provide. I'm near Philly. Hit me up if possible. :hello:

I did nothing to it but play it. I did not put on near enough hours on it to warrant a tube change, and I am not one to roll tubes just for the fun of it. I am glad your enjoying it, I would Like a shout out if you ever decide to move it on.

There is a good possibility I may Sell or Trade. Really want a more Vintage/Plexi-ish platform. I would be interested in a trade for anything close to a '68 Plexi that is a Hand-Wired Head or Combo, but would prefer a head such as the HXDA or ?
