CU24: will I break the 3-way with the guitar inside a gigbag?

I've modded my CU24 with a 3-way toggle switch and a push-pull, but I'm afraid the 3-way will be under pressure inside the gigbag, because it's being forced all the time. How do you guys deal with this?

how come the gigbag is forcing it?
physically, it's not that big switch, including the tip. never had problems when I lugged my cu22 around, I'm wondering if your gigbag is too tight?

Most of the 20 or so PRS's I've owned have had the McCarty switching toggle, and been carried in one of three PRS gig bags. No worries.

Gig bags are soft with padding. That will not stress the switch. Most guitars in the world have protruding switches, and gig bags wouldn't be very popular if they broke switches.

For peace of mind, you could always fashion a little foam donut to place around/over the toggle for travel.

I think you're doing possibly wearing out the threads on your switch tips threading it in and out all the time.

Rachmaninoff, I congratulate you and I salute you!

You have outdone me in the OCD Department. And I work hard at it. ;)
