WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO FIT A PRS LAMPSHADE KNOB ON A CTS POT *WITHOUT* SPLAYING THE SPLIT SHAFT WITH A SCREWDRIVER?

Well, if you don't want to splay the shaft, maybe some plumbers tape around it until you get it right.

I splayed the shaft just this weekend. And that's not a euphemism for anything other than the subject we're talking about.

Well, if you don't want to splay the shaft, maybe some plumbers tape around it until you get it right.

I actually did this on my P24 I just fixed, but that tape will likely not be a long-term solution.
