'COVID-19' Projects

In my efforts to discover new websites that sport IRs and patches for modeling devices, I chanced across this one:

https://www.3sigmaaudio.com

Here I found several acoustic IRs for my HeadRush Gigboard (including a lovely Martin D45 IR that comes with various piezo and sound hole configs)

As well as one from Marco Fanton (an Italian guitarist who has awesome chops who also produces IRs and patches for various devices)

https://www.marcofanton.it/patches.html

I think these will keep me in fine fettle until the cows come home...

This is coming out soon from Killerfish games, so going to be my software diversion

I have logged almost 200hrs over the past few years on their Coldwaters game..............work away from home and its helped fill in many an idle time, plus it's strategy so works on any laptop and better for shall we say the middle aged brain. I had happy diversion into submarine warfare books.......I read a lot ;)

Today seems to be a juggle the projects day.
Got the red car and the fireblade ready to roll - when I’m allowed to leave the house. I need a new battery for the other motorcycle.
Did some taping and painting - now I need to wait to remove some excess paint in a couple of spots.
A bit of bicycle maintenance. I need some new cable to recable one.
Now I might go and steal a song or something.

Cheers all.

A music store manager that I got to know reasonably well told me once that every electric guitar player has a secret (or not so secret) jones to play drums. I got hugely hooked on Rock Band 10-12 years ago when it was the hot thing and yup, it was the drums.
I started out as a drummer, then moved to guitar. I have a Roland TD17KVX set in the room that I can embarrass myself on when the mood strikes. I still enjoy it, and it makes for easy band rehearsals too!
