Anyone ever done this? Do you guys think it’s even worth it? Thing about getting a Mann one piece term, and thought of getting core electronics as well. Thanks in advance.

I gutted mine (S2 Standard 24). Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro pups, all clothe braided vintage wiring, CTS pots, PIO CAP, USA Switch... most amazing sounding, all-in-one guitar I have.

It’s all just a question of how you feel about the way it sounds now. If you’re happy, don’t fool with it. If you’re not, have at it. My S2 custom is bone stock, although it has a katalox fingerboard. Won’t change anything because I love the way it sounds.

I'll be switching out the pots and cap on my Cu22 Semi Hollow SE soon. I believe the electronics are the same on the S2. I might go with a brass block as well. I like the way mine sounds but the sweep on the tone pot isn't right . I'll use a core push/pull and volume. I'll have to see what cap is in there before I make a decision on that front. Oh, and in going to switch to clear knobs.
