Core McCarty 594 volume drops between pickups

Hey, new member here. Have a question. The treble pickup is significantly quieter than the bass on my Core 594; what steps/process would you go through to fix it?

Are all volume and tone knobs working correctly?
How about pickup height? If the bridge is really low and the neck really high that could do it

You can adjust the height of the pickups relative to the strings to balance them out. If that doesn’t solve it then there might be a wiring issue.
