This is troublesome to say the least. This is definitely not grain. From the day I took it home and every few months after I’ve taken pictures of this guitar. I compared these pictures and see that these vertical lines that are obvious the length of the body
Yesterday I was in a signature PRS dealer store to by a core Silver Sky. The two I tried Wes solid colors. Then I held each so that the store ceiling lights were on each body. AND YES each of these solid color guitars had the same type vertical lines. They have no texture to the touch
This isn’t grain. They are too symmetrical. So I wanted to buy one I walked out shaking my head .. not again. PRS I love them but they don’t know how to get a clear coat right
I have 6 cores. 2 that I sold for Pennie’s were years ago when PRs used poly on cores my private stock fogged under the clear coat. The McCarty did the same. I live in VA. Smoke free and climate controlled house. My 345 that’s 5 years old doesn’t have this nor my LPs
So what is going on. Anyone else experience this
