Cor-Tek Ibanez and PRS

The 2019 PRS acoustics are made by Cor-Tek in China. I have a T40e and it's a beautiful guitar both to look at and to play. I had never seen okvangol before but I love it. Interestingly Ibanez have just brought out the AE 255BT, a 'baritone' acoustic. Here are the specs:

• AE Body
• Top: Spruce, solid
• Back and sides: Ovangkol
• Scalloped X Bracing with 'projection'
• Neck: Mahogany, satined
• Fretboard and bridge: Refined maple
• Nut width: 45 mm
• Scale: 685 mm
• Rosette: Abalone and maple
• Fretboard inlays: Wood 'vine'
• Nut: Bone
• Bridges pins: Ebony
• Saddles: Bone (4 mm)
• Ibanez T-bar pickup with Ibanez custom electronics
• Colour: Natural high gloss

And there's a new acoustic series for Cort too.

All of these are made in the same factory. It looks like an increasing blurring of lines between manufacturers, with plenty of imitation. Or is this just coincidence?
