Cool garage find: PRS 20th Anniversary Magazine

I was going through a box in the garage today and found this gem: a Guitar Player special magazine devoted to PRS in celebration of their 20th anniversary. Tons of great pics from the retrospectives and also from the ads. A lot of the usual pushers are represented.



There's an extensive interview with Paul, as well as one with Joe Knaggs. There is also an article about Ted McCarty.

Perhaps most interesting to me is this exploded view of the electronics from a 513:



Anyone else remember this mag? It makes a nice complement to the PRS Guitar Book. I TOTALLY forgot I had it. Looking forward to re-reading it soon.

Bangin'! I found the instructions for my CE the other day, and then promptly lost them before I scanned them for us all.

Interesting! It seems the 513 pickups are tapped and split accordingly in the 3 different modes. Split in SC mode, tapped in Clear mode, and full coils in Heavy mode.
