I dunno if anyone has been following the Jodi Arias trial, but she reminds me of...Alanis Morisette.

It's local to me but I hadn't heard about it. Just read the wiki page. Why is this newsworthy? Seems like regular ol' murder, happens all the time - that doesn't make it less tragic of course, but why is this murder trial any different from any other?
