Wouldn't that be a lot of pressure on that switch inside the case? I've had those things disintegrate just tightening the nut down too tight.
The case could be easily modded to have a space in the padding for the switch. Would only take a few minutes.
I used a PRS factory switch that is used in the MIRA. Rugged and well made. That was a concern as well, but it seems to fit nicely in the PRS case, which has lots of side padding. Also no issues sitting in a K&M stand.

I really like the idea and execution. Just curious as to why push/pulls wouldn't work with the guitar. I've got an SC HB Std and PTC installed separate push/pulls to tap the 57/08s. Does the SC HB II have less clearance than my Standard?

The push/pull are too tall, the circuit board is in the way.

Just to add another option. I wanted to be able to split one or the other HB independently, without disabling the piezo or changing cosmetics and the PTC was able to do this for me. Since I only use the piezo through it's own separate output direct to the PA, we changed the existing toggle to a coil split for the bridge, there is room for a p/p on the volume knob only which we used for neck p/p coil split. I have a DC HB 2 so not sure if the internal space at the end of the body is different, but it doesn't appear to be. The piezo is "always on" and I just control the output/on/off with it's volume knob. This was a good option for me as I prefer the piezo only to a separate amp/PA (don't like the "blended" sound) and really like mixed HB/SC combinations. The PTC was able to do this for me...and it works great! (without changing the guitar's "look" in any way) I should mention that the 57/08's standard in the HB2 had to be replaced with "splittable" versions, that was OK w me as I used the original 57/08's for another project (and they're pretty easy to sell).

Yes you are correct. There is only room for the p/p pot on the mag volume knob...I've corrected my post. Sorry...early here...I shouldn't post before my 2nd or 3rd cup of coffee.

I'm going to open my SC HB Std and see what the PTC did for me. They added push/pull pots to both vol and tone, so I could tap the pups individually.

Doh! Mine doesn't have the piezo, which explains the extra space. Sorry about that. Boneheaded mistake on my part.

It's pretty much the only missing tone option you can cram into the HBII. I assume you can still blend piezo? Is it a 2 way or 3 way switch?
I will have mine shipped to you on Monday. Well, I would like to anyway. Maybe someday.
But it is something I was thinking a future model may have, as there isn't much more you can do to improve this guitar.
