Are there chrome pickup covers available for the PRS S2 Custom from Paul Reed Smith or an aftermarket location that sells them?

Thank you.

Pretty sure someone has done it on here, sorry not sure of the size since they're Korean pickups. If you measure them you should be able to source them from stewmac or similar.

This model is a Made in USA but the pickups may well be Korean. I can measure and look. I was just hoping there was a source that most used for stuff like this or that someone had done then and knew exactly what I needed.

Appreciate the information.

I believe that Philadelphia Luthiers has the covers you need. Surf their website.

Thanks, I'll give it a look right now.

Crap, now that I'm looking at the pics I'm thinking "what the hell"....looks pretty good like it is. ha!

Ok, so I'm old and have some vision issues. I think that the size cover I need is 1 1/2 x 2 3/4. I know you can't measure it for me but does that sound in the ball park. I'm not worried about wating a couple of bucks if I'm wrong . I think that's a standard size?

Again these are supposedly USA made guitars.

Yeah I was gonna say, man that thing looks sexy as hell! No way I'd ever cover them. The only ones I would cover would be zebras, period. Hate the look of those. I sold my first SE because of them.

I really like the contract of the black pickup rings and black pickups against the sweet colour and flame :)

Yep, the pickups are made by G&B, same company that makes the SE pickups. They're probably a metric size, and it will pay to check the neck and bridge sizes.

Stew Mac sells covers the vintage spacing fits the US pickups they have measurements on the site :)

If these are G&B made pickups, they're most likely 50mm spacing for the neck PU and 52mm spacing for the bridge PU.

As stated above the pups are from the same supplier of the SE pups. I covered the pups on my SE Bernie with the set I got from GC for $12. I also lightly brushed them for a nicer touch.

Incidentally, PRS hardware is nickel plated, not chrome plated...chrome has more of a blue cast, nickel's is more neutral in shade.

So if you do go ahead with this plan, you might want to see if you can find nickel ones to match your guitar.

If it were me, I would hold out for PRS nickel plated covers. The difference is jarring when you look at chrome covers against the nickel. I have chrome covered buckers on others and they are TOO shiny and bright. I like the warmer looking Nickel much better.
