Christina Amphlett passed away yesterday (4-21-2013). She had MS and breast cancer.
She was one half of the group diVinyls. Their biggest hit was probably "I Touch Myself", but there was much more to them than that. In my opinion, they were a very underrated band. She was a fine songwriter. She was outgoing and flirtatious onstage, both sexy and powerful. She was married to the drummer Charley Drayton, who played with Keith Richards' X-Pensive Winos among others. My thoughts go out to Charley and those close to her. She will be missed.
