I love my Kemper! Sorry Les. I've only had it a few weeks, and still learning - but already found lots of very cool and very usable profiles.

I did load some Archon profiles from the rig exchange, but they were all to extreme gain for me.

I haven't had time to learn how to profile my CAD Dallas.

Aw, I'm only kidding around, not to worry. The Kemper is definitely the digital doohickey I like best of all of them.

It's a very impressive box.

But I'm still a "real thing" guy because...well...that's how mother nature made me!

Yup but they are pretty horrible, I've done a couple of direct ones which are better but I keep losing motivation to spend the time profiling.

If you ever want to check one out, I've got one. I'll be happy to let you check it out. I just did a profile of an amp today to show my buddy how close the Kemper can sound to the actual amp and he could not tell which one was which.

I now have a Kemper as well, and i am really enjoying it through an Atomic CLR. I can understand that he could not tell which was which, but did you test whether or not he could tell a difference at all?

We couldn't tell much of a difference, but we aren't super sophisticated tone connoisseurs. We're just normal guys.
