Bit of a thread resurrection (the guitar is surely long time sold), but yeah, Obsidian has ranged from almost brown to green with flecks of gold.

Which reminds me, I wouldn't mind a PRS in that finish!

Yeah, mine has more green, and almost no brown. I like them both...a lot!
