I was blabbing on about Glow In The Dark guitars again the other day, mentioned Skitchy's GITD Wack-Master, and decided it deserved its own thread.
Now it should come as no surprise that one of the PTC's finest would execute this incredibly well, but I have to admire the all-over-Bangin'ness of the concept of how to dress up a lowly Billy Martin into an axe that is as dope conceptually speaking as a PS Santana is (to me)!
When I was doing the Design on a Dimebag stuff last year I would be constantly coming up with ideas on a motif that I had either seen already and wanted to tweak , or wanted to see done... Sometimes I would feel like that South Park episode where some kid would say: "Simpsons did it." and in the case of a GITD guitar I would just say: "Skitchy did it."
Holyfukinsh!t! This is so Bangin'! Imma put my GITD paint away.... There's no point in doing a second-rate version of this guitar... maybe he'll let me borrow it instead.
Here it is, from the Master Mohican straight to your eyeballs:
