Channel Switching on the Custom 2 channel amplifier using the Boss ES-8 switcher

The 2 Channel amplifier has the midi like connections for the channel switching and I would like to use my Boss ES-8 Switcher with this amplifier but don't know if it's possible. Is this amplifier controllable with a MIDI switcher? Is there power coming through the cable that might damage my switcher?
