Hey guys. I'm new to the PRS forums/PRS community. I hope I'm posting this question in the correct place.

I recently purchased a CU 24 and am in love with. I really dig everything about. The only thing I'm contemplating is changing the string gauge slightly.

The .10s on it now are ok, but I prefer a little heavier gauge for the lower strings. I typically use Ernie Balls skinny top heavy bottom strings on my other guitars, and I am contemplating changing them on my new CU. My question is whether or not the change would require major setup changes to the guitar. In the past, I don't recall having to modify much if anything, but this guitar plays sooo smoothly that I don't want to muck it up. So, I was wondering what you guys thought. Thanks in advance for your input.

You might need a tweak on the truss rod, and re-intonate the bass strings, is all that's likely.
A pickup adjustment maybe.

I'd go for it and see. Sometimes it doesn't seem like much difference, but a good tuner sometimes indicates stuff we can't hear.

I don't mind a touch of increase in neck relief if it's still within range generally.
