CE24 Trem Arm

The tremolo arm will not go in the hole more than 1/4 inch. I backed the adjustment screw all the way out. I can’t see any obvious issues. Any ideas??

Not sure if I'm answering your question. The trem arm for old CE 24 (1988-2009) is not the same size as current version (from 2016). The new one employs SE vibrato set hence it uses SE trem arm.
Are you sure you're using the correct version of arm?

Yes. Thanks for your reply. The trem arm fits great in my other CE24 (2017) but not in my 2020 CE24 which I just purchased used on reverb
