Hi.
I'm a new PRS player.
I have recently acquired an old 1991 CE24 which is in pretty good condition for its age.

However, it does have a few knocks to the body which has caused some white spots. They seem to look like the lacquer has raised.

I'd like to try and restore the guitar to as new looking as possible. Can anyone recommend a way to repair these white spots?

Aside from a refinish, I do not know of a way to do it.

Maybe go the other direction. Chalk it up as "character", play the snot out of it, and enjoy the freedom of not having to worry about keeping it perfect.

knocks are a badge of honor; especially if they were acquired honestly. I once saw a band touring the eastern seaboard who stopped into a venue in Raleigh, NC. The guitarist was playing a CE24. At the last song he took it off and waived it above his head for the crowd to cheer and then he "gently" tossed it onto the floor. It looked like he wanted to make it looked like he didn't care, but it also looked like he was being far too careful. I think he wanted to put scrapes on it without really damaging the guitar. That isn't aquireing them honetly IMO. But a knock or two from years of being played is what a guitar is supposed to look like. Play it and enjoy it!
