CE Pickup Swap?

With my ears gravitating to the 57/08s in my collection recently, my poor old warhorse all-alder CE is sounding a bit muddy with the HFS/VBs in there. Looking to open up all that woody goodness.

I have a set of Standard T&Bs lying around (they came with my CU24 Throwback) and was wondering if these might open things up a bit.

Anyone have any experience or opinions in consideration of that guitar / wood / pickup combination?

PTCing for 57/08s would be another (much more expensive) option...

I'm the one selling those pickups. I respectfully submit that you simply don't know what you're talking about. I've sold 3 sets of stamped T&Bs in the past year and a half. 2 sets for that price, and one set a little lower due to rusty pole pieces. Just because they're not worth my asking price to you doesn't mean that isn't the fair market value.
