CE Custom 24 finish

First time poster, hi all

I joined the PRS family this week, treated myself to a CE Custom 24 in custom colour . early 40th Birthday present to myself. Serial begins 21, so this year's model (bought new from Andertons UK).

I want to take great care of it, but I'm not sure what finish is on it. From reading around I believe different finishes require different care, and that some guitar stands don't play nice with certain finishes. Can anyone point me in the right direction re care and cleaning and what to avoid when it comes to stands etc? It's too gorgeous to risk anything rubbing/reacting.

Get a stand that is Nitro friendly. Most of the Hercules stands are fine for nitro. As for cleaning, microfiber cloth is your friend. Maybe mist it a little with some water. You should be good to go.

I use Meguiar’s cleaner/car wax on my non nitro guitars, and have for years. It’s very good for removing pick scratches in the finish.
