CE 24-08 Black Limba Limited Edition

Thank you for the welcome I am excited for the guitar they are satin I think I'm going to take it apart immediately and spray it with nitro to give it a gloss finish.
 
Sorry to spoil the party, and I like the idea of a Korina CE but why do they dumb it down so much? The top carve looks pretty shallow and the knob are is not dished in. And why don’t they recess the control plates?
 
All the Maryland made CE models do not have recessed control knobs the carve is a little bit shallower than the core models but it is more pronounced than the se models. it's carved more like a Les Paul would be.

Since the rerelease of the CE its been a shallow violin carve

I've rejected 4 already...too much sapwood for my tastes. More white limba than black limba...

And you can just repeat until you get one that suits? I think I could get away with one that falls short but beyond that...I'm working on a new Quilt Lake Blue 24-08 deal and so far two dealers have told me I lay down my deposit and it is what it is. Sure didn't used to be like that but seems to be that way now. I'm waiting on a call from dealer #3...and of course that's roughly 1/3 the price of the Limba so maybe that carries some weight. Although to me it shouldn't.🙄
I'd freak if I ordered a Black Limba and they told me I had to take it even if it didn't have the visual appeal based on what I ordered.😱
