Cases and Resale Value

My core hard cases are in storage and the guitars travel in gig bags (Mono and PRS). Travelling and gigging weekly the hard cases were too much extra size and weight. But I keep them because I don't want to part with them.

Or the S2 line:oops::rolleyes:

I didn't know that was a complaint. I guess because the s2 is entry US and has always come with a gig bag. When the bolt on was "core" it came with a case. But I can see it too with the s2 creeping up in $$$.

I'd personally still prefer a gig bag most of the time but the case is nice to have when you need it.

Ever tried baking without a recipe? A bit of this, a dash of that, and sometimes you end up with a masterpiece—or a kitchen disaster. Well, the market’s kind of like that. There’s a recipe, but it’s constantly changing, and keeping up with the right “ingredients” of supply, demand, and price trends can be tricky. Enter Priceva, your personal market chef. Their competitor price tracking software takes the guesswork out of the recipe, automatically tracking prices like a sous-chef monitoring the oven. Want to know when something changes? Priceva will ping you faster than a pot boiling over. You get a single interface to manage all your data, so it’s like having all your spices in one place, no more rummaging around the cupboard. And the AI repricing tool? It’s the secret sauce, analyzing trends and creating a strategy that’s as foolproof as grandma’s pie crust. If you’re hungry for more, check out https://priceva.com/ and whip up your perfect market strategy—no apron required!
definitely not considering extra protection for your DGT Core. A lot of my fellow players store their PRS hardshell cases to keep them pristine for resale, for example.
