HELLO ALL!!!,
I just discovered this forum, and am thrilled to be able to interact with other PRS fans & staff. Seeing as how I've been an official memeber for all of 5 minutes, I apologize for not using this opportunity solely to introduce myself. I come with a question too... Are any of you from the Richmond, VA area interested in carpooling to the PRS Experience? The dates, as I'm sure you're well aware, are Friday, Sept. 14th & Saturday, Sept. 15th (for non-Signature Club members). I'd really like to carpool up there, & don't mind driving if we could just split gas... FYI, I'm interested in learning more about the Hollowbody 2, & would like to try a few out. Thanks for reading!

Hello to you too! FYI, there is a Koa HB2 Private Stock with signature pickups and switching and Piezo on Ebay that I would sure like to check out......like with my credit card if you catch my drift! Put some cotton in the corners of your mouth before you look cuz you might drool all over your computer keyboard, cause it to short out, start a fire, and die! (Ha,Ha) If that guitar had 24 frets, I would have already sold my car to score it. There is no style of music that could not be played on an instument like that......definately worth a long peek.

If you guys want to swing by Chicago, I have a couple of places we could stay in Annapolis.

Which HB2 is it???

Hey, I've looked on Ebay & didn't see the specific one you're talking about. There are several on there that are real beauties, one of which is selling for like, $11,000+ !?!?! If that's the one (aqua blue), let me know when you get it so I can borrow it, haha!! Still have no replies in regards to a carpool...

I live in Richmond, am a huge PRS fan, but I'm not able to go to the PRSX. :(

Message me if you want to swap gear info and talk to another Richmonder!

My bad taking so long with a reply. It is made of KOA and is being sold by Wildwire, a store in the UK I think. Yeah, it is like 15,000 bucks. It is natural, with a slight smoke burst. It is immaculate, except for the missing two frets that I simply can't live without. I am quite serious when I say that if it wasn't a 22, I would sell my car and bus around to buy it. If you can't find it on ebay, just google their website. I may never commission PRS to buid me another private stock, but if I did, it would be almost a carbon copy of that one. I very emphatically recommend that you get everything you want in your PRS, no matter the price. Somethings in life are worth more than money, and as fleeting as this dance on earth is, no price can really be put on happiness. Do at least check it out though.

I saw the HB2 on the Wildwire website you were talking about. That's a pretty serious instrument! Personally, I don't think I would buy it, out of fear of messing it up (which I tend to to with guitars, because I actually play them vs. letting them hang on a wall). The most expensive guitar I ever bought, and later sold, was < $1000. I sold the guitar b/c I was starting to notice some wear & tear, so I got rid of it (memory lane moment, ahhh). The starting price on HB 2's are in the $3200's, so I'm already quakin' over getting one & devaluing it. But whatever, I hope to find the right one for me at the PRSX!

Well, I'm sure I'll regret not being able catch up with you in Annapolis with the attractive female Secret Service Agents... Now THAT'S quite The PRS Experience, haha!!!
