Car and truck lovers unite.

I've ridden the dargon many times , I like the Nantahala gorge , Hellbender and Wayah Road better. In autumn it's AMAZING when the leaves are golden this guy is just poking along .. we usually are about 2x that speed
Pretty Ride But I Think I Go Faster In Neutral.

If you could drive your dream car(maybe you already have it) is there any particular vehicle that you would live to drive or have a ride in?

I would love a ride in a Bugatti Veyron, on a track where speed is NO limit.
I would love to drive an F1 car someday! I have seen my dream car in person (Jaguar XKSS) but did not have the opportunity to sit, ride or drive that beast (and it is unlikely I ever will)!! As for attainable vehicles to drive/ride in, the list is way too long but I support your Bugatti choice and it would be on my long list ;~))

OK, here is a bit of a hodgepodge of cool rides (in chronological order) ;~))

(4 of these customs were made for the movie "Cobra")
Notice they used the Cadillac 1959 and 1960 fins rolled into one!

Vette, Jag, Mercedes, Austin Are My Faves Of The Bunch But They Are All Terrific!

My favorite Corvette year is 1963 because of the back split window. What a very unique feature.

I think I am in love with big blocks. I can remember we did have a vehicle with a small block. I remember it was a Chevy product with a 427 small block in it. My husband traded up to another vehicle with a 454 big block. That engine was perfect for him.

For the amount of years I have spent with the guys at the garage when we were dating I should of became an mechanic. I would love the knowledge and the power to be able to do this. Woulda, coulda, shoulda! Lol

This is another corvette we had!

1973 and green with white racing stripes o the hood

The 454 cu in (7.4 L) LS-4 big-block V8 engine was introduced in 1973 to replace the LS-5. It delivered 275 hp (205 kW) and 15% of the cars were ordered so equipped. “454” emblems adorned the hood of big-block equipped Corvettes.

I think that my husband and I might have a project to do together. We need to get all our car pictures that we have owned and put them in a chronological order with little back stories. Need them documented.

The time I spent with my hubby and his friends was a moment I will ever forget. So many priceless stories, so many laughs plus that where I starting learning about cars, car engines. Etc.

I was there gofer for Harvey’s , the beer store and anything else they might need.

Some of the nicest memories.

amen on the 63 split .. one of my dream cars. The Porsche handles better and is WAY quicker and faster , but I'd consider and even up trade. ...:)

Speaking of cars...

A few of our friends own the new Ford Bronco's. We looked at them 2 years ago (before buying our Subaru) and I was shocked at the price range variance from low to high. Base models with turbocharged 3 cyl motors :)eek:) were as low as $23,000 and some models pushed up to the $40s and one V-6 turbo model at $64K. I was shocked that one model cost almost 3 times what another model did.

Last week we were at the county fair and the Ford dealer had a display. They had a cool looking Bronco there and I went to take a look. I quickly walked away with no details or model info because I saw the bottom line and about fell over. The sticker price was over $90,000!

I test drove the smaller version yesterday. I thought it was cool, but it beat me up. I’m gonna stick with a comfort SUV like my Jeep GC L. 🤷🏼‍♂️
I did indeed stick with “comfort”.

Today, I picked up this ‘24 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve. I decided to get a ‘24 because it’s the last vehicle offering the Hemi V8 (360 HP). This vehicle has a beautiful interior, and the front seats have the massage feature. 🥰

Awesome sled! Looks like it is ready for Secret Service duty ;~)) Enjoy (and keep plenty of quarters in the center console for the vibrating seats)!!

Picked up a 2025 MT Supra earlier this week....it's a lot of fun....going to a practice in a car like this gives my gig bags some use! Still fits my rig...however I do have a one of my many spare cabs sitting at the practice space...
