Hey guys,

I had read about a change in the wiring on the NF3 back in 2012 or so and since my guitar was a 2011 model, I was curious to see if my NF3 had the capacitor across the volume pot.

It does have one and it is labelled: SL 181 J

The cap I bought to install (in case it didn't have one) is labelled: Y5F 181 K

Can you gurus tell me if there is any significant difference between these? Should I not bother removing the one that is there and installing the new one? Here's a pic of what was installed when I bought the guitar (used):

Thanks for any help!

Oh yeah, here is a guitar pic since I know it is not only expected, but required !

Probably just a different manufacturer. I wouldn't go thru the trouble since they're the same value, doubt you'd hear a difference. Possible, but doubtful...maybe Paul with his dog ears could.:)
