I'm confused a bit....I see that this color is not normally offered as an option on the PRS website, but if you scroll the option for some kind Artist Package does offer it.

I don't need fancy though. Just a CU22 in Whale Blue. No gold, no fancy top.

Is that possible?

Thanks

Aside from spending the big bucks on the Artist Package, you will have to settle for the current Core color, Faded Whale Blue.

Yes, through the Artist Package. This will up the price a little, but you get some very nice free options to choose also. Keep in mind you do not have to choose options that increase the price even more, such as neck wood. I have several Artist Package guitars and they are the best way to go. The color choices are listed on the Artist Package link. After you scroll down past standard colors you will see a rectangle box in the top center of the page that reads Artist Package. Click on it and it takes you to the Artist Package options. At the bottom is all the color choices!

If the color isn't listed at the bottom of the page on the PRS web site, then it is a complete roll of the dice to see if you can find one. Sometimes they do off colors but it is solely according to whatever mood they may be in at a given moment. Private Stock will do whatever you want but that it too expensive.

But as it so happens, I did run across a whale blue Custom 22 Piezo (aka P22) Same thing as a Custom 22 only it also has a piezo pickup addded which you don't have to use if you don't want to. Better get it quick because you can't just order one like that.
